This gorgeous fellow was left alone for some time after his owner passed away, with only his dog-friend for companionship. Roger is probably around 6 years old and has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He has a mellow disposition. He is bright, and -- if not house-trained -- it is presumed that the task would come easily.
Border Collie
Rupert
This guy is beautiful, mellow and bright! Aside from the company of his dog-friend, Rupert found himself alone after the death of his owner. He is believed to be between 2 and 3 years old and is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
McKenna
This affectionate, able-bodied 12-year-old is such a love. She is not a big dog (about 40 lbs) but what she lacks in size, she makes up for in energy and enthusiasm. She enjoys walks, and is still high-energy for an older lady. Her sibling is Quigley, also on this site. She is very dog aggressive and needs to be an only dog with a fenced yard and on leash when not in her yard...No dog-park visits for her. With these guidelines, McKenna will be your most loyal companion!
Coby/Cobalt
Coby is a beautiful Shepherd/ Border Collie mix. She is approx. 6 yrs old and around 55 lbs. She is the sister to Indy. Coby loves to play with other dogs. She is very agile and would be a great workout buddy. She is shy but loving, and will need a home with consistency, patience and plenty of one-on-one handling. She will come around with the right person; she has already come so far. Coby has been fostered, working on some skills she needs to find that perfect permanent arrangement!
Rowdy
Rowdy is a 5 year old owner-surrender who had some initial difficulties transitioning to a return to kennel-life. He has, under our care, made remarkable shifts and is now walking on leash, is not nearly as shy and is, in general, a more confident and engaging guy. He will require a large yard and continued gentle approaches to training.
Indy
Indy is a beautiful Shepherd/ Border Collie mix. He is approx. 6 yrs old and around 55 lbs. He is the brother to Coby. Indy loves to play with other dogs, but seems to prefer the lady-dogs. He is very agile and would be a great workout buddy. He is shy and skittish and will need a home with consistency, love and plenty of one-on-one handling. Placed with a person who has dog-savvy, he will come around. He has been fostered and thrives in a home environment. Schedule to visit him and bring your dog for him to meet!
