Sweet little Ariel was sent our way, a very pregnant girl whose time was up for finding a home at another shelter. She was picked up running loose and was, unfortunately, impregnated during her first heat cycle. She had her "one-time" healthy litter of seven shortly after arriving and performed her role as a mother extremely well, especially considering that, at the time, she was still under a year old herself. She is a very people-focused lady, good with dogs, very attentive, affectionate and eager to learn. Ariel's ideal home will include another medium-energy canine friend and a family that will provide moderate activity, since an early-life injury to one of her feet causes some slight compromise. This 1 year old is ready to start a new life of her own -- filled with comforts, ample vittles and LOTS of affection!
