Odie is such a sweet boy! He was found running with a pack of dogs on the reservation, but wanted a better life. He is very loving and mellow. He likes dogs and is in with a couple of his old buddies. He is about 45 lbs. and will fill out with consistent food now. He's only been at Annie's a short time and will become much more acclimated to walking and playing in our play yard. Please call for more info or to see him at Annie's.

Tigger is a wonderful boy who is very friendly and balanced. He gets along with everybody and everything! He is about 10 yrs young and would love to be back in a family where he can be the loyal, obedient and fun boy he is. Come play with him at Annie's play yard!

Seager is very cute and inquisitive. He was with a group of other young dogs that was going to be killed on the reservation. We saved them. He has been neutered and updated on his shots. He is a bit shy but is learning quickly, we're not all bad. He loves treats and will soon have the basic manners down. We don't know what "breed" this little boy is - just pure bred mutt - please come see him at Annie's!!

Tom is such a funny boy and a quick learner! Within 2 minutes, he was walking perfectly on the leash. He likes to play and wiggle all over. He needs someone to keep him in line and he will be fine with other dogs. He weighs about 40 lbs and has a very nice coat. He is very handsome and affectionate. Please come and see him at Annie's!!

Honey Bear is a terrier mix who has a lot of energy! She's very loving with kids, cats and people. She would do better with older kids. She is house trained, walks on leash and is full of love. Anasazi was found on the Navajo Reservation fending for herself. She is a wonderful dog who loves people. She is approx. 30 lbs and is obedient and active. She loves the water!!! She is very athletic and would make a loyal and able companion. Come play with her in our play yard!

Rosie was rescued in the middle of January 2009, when temperatures were very cold and the snow was deep. She was about 7 weeks pregnant, wearing a chain choke collar (no tags) and very bony. During her stay with the Chama Valley Humane Society she stayed with three foster families. She did spend some time inside, but may need to be crated briefly to remind her of housetraining. When she was rescued, she knew no commands and nothing about how to behave.

Cobie is mostly black in color a great dog! She loves other dogs and is learning to walk so well on the leash. She's very cute and plays like the older puppy she is and is another residents, Indy's, sister. She's just a diamond in the rough waiting for you and your love to come along! She loves to please, loves people and with training and exercise, this 6 year old will make someone a wonderful companion. She is very smart, too! Lucy Ann is very sweet with people but a little dominant with other dogs. She's interested in the cats but the cat thing might be because she's in a yard and they are on the outside. She is a very good walker minding her manners and listening to you. She just needs you to give her a chance to show you what a good girl she is! Come play with her at Annie's Play Yard!! She is also the sister of another resident - Ellie May.

Suzie is a sweet little girl who was a puppy mill breeder. She was going to be destroyed at her young age of 2 but was rescued and brought to Annie's for a second chance on life. She is very happy to be living on the ground now and loves the grass and her toys. She weighs about 15 lbs and is a total love bug! Come play with her and fall in love!

Buttons is a new girl to the shelter. She is gaining much needed weight and confidence. She is super sweet and good with dogs and kids. She likes the water, playing with new friends and going on walks. She is about 15 months old and full grown at 35 lbs. Call to come and play with her in our play yard!

This 4-year-old (with a face like a raccoon) is very good on the leash (no pulling). Dee Dee is athletic and ready for the training ring---obedience, agility, whatever, she'd love to go! D. D. is full of life and needs a loving home to grow up in. Let her be your only dog. If you give her the opportunity, she'll make you SO happy!

Ellie May is a very friendly girl that walks very well on leash and will make a great companion. She remains quite calm and is easy to direct. She is waiting for her special home. As you might be able to see from the video, she throws the toy repeatedly into the air then chases it. It is hysterical to watch. She is having so much fun!! You can come see her and play in our "play yard" with her. This little girl came to the shelter with her sister Lucy Ann. She has the same personality as her sister.

Lucky is a special boy. He is very sweet and goofy and loves his people! He's not so keen on other dogs or kids but if you want a loyal dog, this is your boy! Come see him at Annie's playyard!!

Doogan is a young male short-haired mix who came from "the reservation". He loves to play with his toys and carries them around waiting for someone to play with. He is approx. 45 lbs and seems fully grown. He does have some facial scars from a rough past but wants to put it all behind and start anew! He is very athletic and attentive to direction. He loves other dogs too! We believe he will make a loving and loyal addition to your family!
