Sunshine

Sunshine
Sunshine is a wonderful family dog! She is about 4 years old and is a sweet, kid-friendly companion. She loves to run, swim, chase balls and retrieve sticks. Sunny does well with other, nonaggressive dogs. She is hyper upon first meeting, but settles in quickly. She does like to chase horses and deer and will need a fenced yard and leashed exercise. Sunny enjoys family activity and being in the great outdoors; she'll do best with an active individual or family.

Tatum

Tatum
Tatum is still looking for her life-time person. She is a "tom-boy," not into holding and petting, but a good watch-dog and a fun-loving companion. Tatum is a little ginger-colored girl, who was picked up as a stray, scared and alone. She is at a stable weight and in good form, after her time of having to scrounge for food and hide from dangers. Due to unknown experiences, she came into our shelter skittish/nervous and has made some headway in that area. Still, she will need a patient and loving handler -- someone with whom she can develop trust, who can accept her for her good qualities and not require a lap-dog. She is best suited for a quiet living situation, a household with no children. "Tater" is a part of a "pack" of small dogs out here, loves her pals and playtime and would most likely do quite well with another small household dog. She is probably 6 years old, around 5 to 6 pounds and infinitely cute!!

Timber

Timber
This Lab/Catahoula mix is black, with brindled legs and chest. He is a one-year-old, who has come from a household where he was not given sufficient exercise and attention; so, he'll be looking for plenty of that! He is very easy on leash, is good with kids and other dogs and will make an excellent hiking partner. This boy is complete on vet-care and ready to find his new home. Timber is a very tall and handsome fellow, who has lots of life to share!

Titus

Titus
Titus is probably a Guardian Breed mix, possibly Akbash. He is up to date on all shots and neutered. Titus will need an active individual, who will join with him in hiking, walking, jogging, etc. He seems to like kids, judging from his actions out here. Titus is the type of dog who will be protective of the home-front; we are currently engaged in behavioral assessment of him and adoptable-status will be based on that.

Tyson

Tyson
Tyson is a German Terrier, with true-to-breed traits. He is very adoptable and likes kids -- but needs to be the only dog on the home-front, as he is aggressive with most dogs (a few exceptions apply). He will need a job and ample exercise, as well as a secure yard. Tyson is between 8 years old and came from a high-kill, out-of-state shelter.

Wolfie

Wolfie
Wolfie was born at Annie's Orphans, to a pregnant mother who was accepted from an out-of-state shelter prior to being euthanized. He was adopted out as a baby along with his sister Bailey. He is 6 years old and was returned within the first year of his life for pack aggression toward another household pet. Additionally, Wolfie develops a strong bond with a person and has shown protective/guarding behaviors when other people approach the primary individual. Adoption is a possibility to only the right individual who has knowledge of the breed and of handling challenging behaviors in dogs.  The necessary living arrangement would include a quiet setting with a solo person.

Zoe

Zoe
Zoe is around 6 years old. When she arrived here, she was in her final days of pregnancy and had been traveling, as a stray, on a busy Utah highway. She loves people (sometimes, with a bit more enthusiasm than is necessary, but she does settle down with appropriate direction). Zoe will need a home with a secure yard, and an active lifestyle would be good for her. She would like a companion who can be with her a lot --someone who works from home or is retired. Another doggy companion would also be ideal.
