Come out and spend the day with a Dog for 2 great causes! We are looking for Volunteers to come out and participate in the The American Cancer Society's "Canines for the Cure Dog Walk" on May 9th at Santa Rita Park. We will have a tent set up and they are sponsoring us to have Annie's Orphans dogs with "Adopt Me" vests in the walk.
We are looking for people who want to commit to the day with a dog from Annie's. We can pair you with a dog and inform you on their history, likes/dislikes etc. so you can represent them to people who might be interested in adopting them.
What the day would involve is picking your dog up from Annie's by 8:00 am to be at the park by 8:30. The walk starts at 9am. You would be responsible for your dog for the day. We will have crates set up so you both can have some down time at any point. The event will probably last until noon or 1 at the latest, then you would return your dog to Annie's.
For more info or to volunteer, please call Darcy at 970.903.3175 or email us at anniesk9orphans@q.org! Thank you and we look forward to seeing you there!
